Description
Originally designed for the Grenoble Olympic Games by the genius architect Jean Prouvé, Alpexpo is a site classified as “Remarkable Contemporary Architecture”.
Its link with the Exhibition Halls and the Alpes Congrès conference centre means that events can be organised on a larger scale.
Entirely redesigned, this event complex offers four complementary, interconnected and distinctively designed spaces, including:
- A 42,000 m² covered exhibition area,
- The Auditorium, a modern, modular auditorium with seating for 1,495, and capacity for up to 2,100 seated and standing spectators,
- The Summum, a multi-purpose hall with seating for 3,000, and modular seating for smaller audiences,
- The Espace 1968, a conference and seminar center, featuring a 456-seat amphitheater and rooms suitable for groups of 20 to 500 people.
It's also easy to get to, with 2,000 free parking spaces, public transport nearby and 90% of hotels located between the train station and Alpexpo.
