L'Épicurien restaurant, a mecca for traditional cuisine in the heart of Grenoble, offers a unique gastronomic experience that harmoniously blends tradition and innovation. Nestled in a historic building dating back to the 16th century, this establishment embodies the spirit of an era, while at the same time being a place of modernity and refinement. Once a fishmonger's, then the Michelin-starred Pommay restaurant, L'Épicurien has preserved its heritage while evolving with the times.
Under the direction of chef Jean-Philippe Perrin for over 25 years, the cuisine on offer is a subtle blend of classic dishes and innovations, featuring fresh market produce. The quality of the ingredients, carefully selected according to the season, allows us to concoct dishes that are as generous as they are delicate, a true homage to local cuisine with accents of the South-West.
The wooden staircase, 17th-century stonework, wood panelling and gilded mirrors create a cosy, intimate atmosphere conducive to relaxation and escape. Every detail is designed to offer guests a warm, refined experience.
A magnificent terrace under the halls is set up every evening, weather permitting, offering a pleasant setting in which to enjoy a meal al fresco.
